Miista was founded by Laura Villasenin in 2010 in Bethnal Green, East London. Villasenin felt there wasn’t enough experimentation between making a product with the highest quality European-only sourced materials, and the practice of radical shoe design. Therefore, Laura and her brother, Pablo, wanted to create a footwear brand which meant you could shop less and make your belongings last for longer. Through the innovative use of materials and textures, each Miista piece is meticulously crafted to ensure comfort and durability while making a bold fashion statement.
