Bouncer Balance Soft is a lightweight and handy baby bouncer with a black frame and a fabric seat in soft cotton, a snuggly cotton-jersey mix, or cool and quick-drying mesh.
What's the difference between Bouncer Bliss and Bouncer Balance Soft?
The differences between our baby bouncers are the colour of the frame and the material of the accompanying fabric seat. The fabric seats fit all of our baby bouncers and can be purchased separately, so it's easy to switch if you want a different colour or fabric. You'll find extra fabric seats here, in cotton, mesh, 3D Jersey and cotton/jersey.
Why should I buy a baby bouncer?
Our lightweight bouncers are easy to move around and take with you – they're a cosy place for your baby to play or rest close by you, while you get the chance to take a shower, unload the dishwasher or prepare dinner. The natural rocking of a bouncer usually has a soothing effect on a very young baby. As your baby grows and learns how to control the rocking, the bouncer becomes even more fun, and also stimulates your baby's balance and motor skills.
Is the baby bouncer easy to take with you?
Yes, Bouncer Balance Soft is lightweight and easy to fold up. You can move it around your home or take it with you to dinner at a friend's house (when folded up, the bouncer fits perfectly in the basket under your pram). It also has a smart and practical transport bag, which you'll find here.
What's the difference between a baby bouncer and a baby swing?
Our baby bouncer offers natural rocking generated by your baby's own movements, unlike a battery or electrically powered baby swing. This means that our baby bouncer weighs less, making it easier to move around and take with you.
Does my baby get the correct support in a bouncer from BABYBJÖRN?
Our bouncers have an ergonomic design that provides the optimal support to your baby's back, neck and head. The fitted fabric seat distributes your baby's weight evenly, and the bouncer's three different positions mean that you can adjust it as your baby grows.
How long can I use Bouncer Balance Soft?
Bouncer Balance Soft can be used from newborn and up to the age of 2 years. In the early months (up to 9 kg), you can use it as a baby bouncer. When your child weighs over 9 kg and can sit up unaided, simply convert the baby bouncer into a comfy children's chair by turning the fabric seat around. You can use it as a chair until your child weighs 13 kg.
What makes the baby bouncer rock?
Our bouncer rocks gently when your baby waves their arms and legs. No batteries are required – our baby bouncer runs on pure fun!
Can you change the fabric seat?
Yes, the fabric seat is very easy to attach and remove. This is ideal if you need to wash it (all of our fabric seats are machine washable) or want to give your bouncer a makeover with a new colour or fabric. Our fabric seats fit all of our baby bouncers and you'll find them here.

Bouncer Balance Soft is available in three soft materials:
3D mesh in 100% polyester is a supersoft, flexible fabric that dries quickly after washing. It's a high-tech, breathable fabric that retains its shape, wash after wash.
100% cotton has a soft and snuggly feel.
Cotton-jersey mix in 100% cotton (the cotton fabric) and 71% cotton, 24% viscose and 5% polyamide (the jersey fabric).

Since our fabrics are such an important part of our textile products, we develop the majority of our fabrics in-house. This allows us to assure high and consistent quality, and ensure that the fabrics offer the unique properties we require.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products
All fabrics that come in contact with your child's skin meet the requirements of OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products. This means that they're kind to your baby's skin and safe to taste.

Bouncer Balance Soft complies with the requirements of the EN 12790 safety standard.
- Bouncer (max. 9 kg) You can use the product as a bouncer until your child weighs 9 kg or has learned to sit upright without support. Remember to use the safety harness and double-check that the buttons are locked (you can choose between two positions) when you use the product as a baby bouncer.
- Chair (max. 13 kg) When your child has learned to walk and sit down unaided, simply turn the fabric seat around and use the product as a comfy children's chair.
Washing instructions
Bouncer Balance Soft is machine washable at 40°C. The fabric seat should be washed separately and should not be tumble dried. Please use a mild, eco-certified detergent and strictly follow the dosing instructions. Do not iron or use fabric softener if you have a fabric seat in 3D mesh, as this will impair the quality of the fabric.
